About Josh

Josh grew up in Anoka and graduated from Anoka high school. He chose to stay and raise his family here, and has been a resident for nearly 40 years. Josh and his wife Ginger have been married for 27 years and have three children; Caleb who has graduated college, and Rowan and Logan, who are both working on their degrees.

Josh has an entrepreneurial spirit. He and his father ran a family owned carpet and furniture cleaning company in Anoka for 15 years. Afterwards, he branched off on his own, becoming a franchise owner for multiple Erbert and Gerbert’s locations across the Twin Cities. He is currently the charitable gambling manager for Anoka Ramsey Athletic Association (ARAA), which raises money to provide quality and affordable youth sports to kids of all economic backgrounds. His experiences give him a key understanding of the importance of having a government that understands community businesses.

Both Josh and Ginger have dedicated themselves to serving their community in Anoka and Coon Rapids. Josh coached baseball and football for over 20 years and served on both the youth and high school wrestling boards. He currently continues to work as a board member for ARAA. Ginger spent her time volunteering at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church and School. More recently, she was a member of the youth and high school wrestling booster clubs and served as president of the Anoka High School Baseball Boosters.
